Fish that was still in the sea this morning.
TradizioneFish · Grill · Pasta · Poreč
A small family konoba on a back street of old Poreč — the plates are big, the fish is whatever came in today, and the terrace sits under a tree.
Our story
Three words on the sign — and nothing more
The awning says TRADIZIONE, and the board beneath it says three words: fish, grill, pasta. We opened in 2017 and have done exactly that ever since. No foam, no tweezers, no long story — whole fish on the grill, olive oil, lemon, rosemary.
The kitchen is run by the family. The terrace sits on a small square under one big tree, away from the main promenade, and after dark a small amber lamp burns on every table. Guests tend to write two things: that the portions are generous, and that the food is simple, but from the heart. That will do.
From the grill to the table
A whole fish.
Opened at your table.
Sea bass and bream come out whole on the platter — bone, skin and all. They are opened in front of you.
Nothing the sea did not give up this morning.
So ask the waiter what came in today — the list changes daily.
